Geological Sourcing: The Deccan Traps

India's Deccan Traps provide one of the world's most significant sources of basalt. To ensure peak mineralogical density, we procure our raw basalt exclusively from verified quarries in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. Specifically, we partner with facilities in Akola and Sagar to guarantee high-purity minerals. By ethically tapping into this ancient volcanic reserve, we ensure a rich, consistent profile of silica, iron, and magnesium in every batch.

Nursery-Grade River Sand

Our structural amendment relies on the purity of freshwater ecosystems. We source our river sand from verified locations such as the Narmada or Sabarmati rivers. We explicitly avoid unverified construction aggregates or ocean-derived sand, which often contain lethal levels of sodium chloride (salt) that can instantly dehydrate and destroy delicate root hairs.

Precision Micronization

Raw basalt rock is biologically inert without proper preparation. We process our raw material by micronizing, utilizing ball mills or pin mills to achieve a 100-200 mesh consistency. Following this, careful sieving ensures a uniform particle size distribution, preventing dusting issues while maintaining optimal efficacy for your soil biology.

Washing & Pathogen Removal

Introducing outside materials into an enclosed apartment ecosystem requires strict biosecurity. All our river sand undergoes thorough washing and drying, ensuring the removal of silt and organic pathogens. This guarantees that our structural architect provides pure aeration without introducing fungus gnats, nematodes, or harmful bacteria to your collection.
